In addition to private balconies, residents have a shared communal lounge and terrace, helping to combat issues of isolation as we age. The building was completed in August 2024 and is managed by Newham Council.

Noele Gordon House has won multiple awards, including:

  • Housebuilder Awards 2025: Won "Best Retirement Scheme".
  • Inside Housing Development Awards 2025: Won "Best Supported Housing Development (Urban)".
  • RESI Awards: as part of the "Outstanding Achievement in Affordable Housing (Under 150 Developments)". 

    These homes are let at London Affordable Rents to those on Newham Council’s housing waiting list in accordance with the Council’s nominations policy.
