Here for the long term
Red Door Ventures was renamed in 2020 as Populo Living. Populo are part of a wider group of companies including Populo Homes and Populo Design and Build. We are wholly owned by the London Borough of Newham. Our backing from Newham Council means we can build for the future and offer stability. As well as public funding, we benefit from access to Council-owned land and property that we can turn into the homes that Newham needs.
With a dozen sites already earmarked for development across Newham, our development plans stretch well into the next decade. You can see that long-term thinking in the way we operate: the quality of our design and building, our commitment to service and management and the way we work and build lasting relationships with trusted partners and suppliers.
The Populo group of companies
The Populo Living Group consists of three companies:
- Populo Living – managing homes to rent and for shared ownership on the open market
- Populo Homes – our registered social provider business, managing high quality genuinely affordable social homes in Newham
- Populo Design & Build – the business overseeing design and construction, working with partners and suppliers
All the companies share the same vision and values. Populo’s funding for developments is subject to the approval, overview and scrutiny of Newham Council’s Cabinet.
