Station Quarter is a vibrant new neighbourhood at the heart of the Carpenters Estate, forming the main gateway from Stratford Station. The scheme will deliver new homes, shops, and welcoming public spaces, creating a lively and well-connected place to live, work and visit. We recently held a consultation to share the early design ideas with residents, but your welcome to share your thoughts on this as the designs evolve.

What’s coming

• 520 new homes, including family-sized and affordable homes 

• The design features three towers of different heights rising out of a shared platform.

• New shops, cafés and food spaces, including a destination food hall below the tower blocks.

• A new high street leading to the station.

• High-quality public spaces with planting, seating and play areas 

• Safer, pedestrian-friendly streets linking Stratford Station to the estate 

A lively new gateway

Station Quarter will create a welcoming arrival into Carpenters Estate, with active ground-floor uses, landmark buildings, and busy streets that feel safe throughout the day and evening. New routes and open spaces will prioritise walking and cycling, helping people move easily through the area.
