Estate Regeneration
Populo Living oversaw the creation of a masterplan and the initial phases of the Carpenters Estate regeneration on behalf of Newham. This will see the estate transformed from c750 homes to over 2,300 in this central Stratford location with excellent transport connections.
This project includes the retrofit of existing tower blocks to bring them up to standard, entirely new quarters with a mix of housing and high-rise apartment blocks, commercial opportunities and placemaking/public realm.
We are also supporting the council around plans for other major estate regeneration projects in the borough.
