Populo are calling for all Newham artists to take part in our June LFA artists exhibition

Posted 27 April 2023

As part of the London Festival of Architecture 2023, we have teamed up with the artists from Fire Station Arts to launch Newham Kaleidoscope, a free open exhibition celebrating the burgeoning Newham art scene.

The exhibition will feature on the official London Festival of Architecture programme of events and will be promoted London-wide. It will be held in East Ham, in the striking former Victorian library now home to the creative hub Applecart Arts.

This year’s theme, set by the L.F.A. is: "In Common". Find out more here.

Newham Kaleidoscope’s call to artists is open to all talented Newham artists, established or emerging, to submit work in response to the In Common theme. To support artists further, submissions are fee-free and, if selected, there is no commission on works for sale.

The 10-day exhibition aims to promote creativity and excellence in our borough, reflecting the spirit and cultural richness of our community. We will be exhibiting a wide range of artworks, giving the public access to quality and exciting works.

For all our artists, our hope is that Newham Kaleidoscope provides you not only with an excellent opportunity to showcase your artwork and meet buyers but will also be an occasion to meet other Newham artists.

Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 nominated artworks at the end of the exhibition based on a public vote. Prize details to be announced.

ENTER HERE before Thursday, 18 May 2023, 12 noon.
